"I had an opportunity to move to the Czech Republic and introduce Brazilian culture here in Prague in 2006. Together with Sofie Toris we opened the first ever Brazilian dance studio and began teaching Zouk, Samba de Gafiera, carnival samba, salsa, Bolero, Tango and many other dynamic and passionate Brazilian dances.

Ever since 2010, I organize the Prague Zouk Congress that is attended by more and more fans of Brazilian culture from around the world annually. Each year, more than 600 dance enthusiasts dedicate the whole week to zouk and samba".

Fernanda's dance career started ten years ago mainly with Samba de Gafiera and Forro in Brazil. Her grace and style has captured the imagination of dancers around the globe.

"I found a great passion for dancing so I started to learn also other dances such as zouk, bolero, salsa or Swinging foxtrot.

It wasn’t long before I was offered a chance to become a member of Brazilian show dance group in the Czech Republic and I have been following Carlos da Silva in his professional career ever since. Together we visit international congresses where we teach and perform as well as organize Prague zouk Congress in Prague".
